Anne Kaferle

“The Utah desert offers constant reminders of the power of water to build and destroy; the repetition of structures from the microscopic to the epically massive; the cyclical nature of the universe. The eternal logic of physics is humbling and puts in perspective our striving as a species. My work is an attempt to frame the world within this context, and to find aesthetic balance consistent with the physical actions and reactions playing out all around us.”
