I simply want to play with color and the endless array of combinations possible. The challenge of arranging peculiar color pallets to play in rhythm offers the potential for something unexpected.

The ” Old West” and its iconic history provides a stimulating environment, and what better subject than the tools and characters most identified with that colorful chaos.
Having lived in Utah for 18 years and counting, it is impossible to ignore the richness of the western landscape, both physically and historically. In a relatively short period of time the discovery and development of the west has provided what seems to be an abundance of subjects of unique nature. Echoes of what I as a child thought the west to be provides a perspective, one that I hope to continue to explore.
