Making art is a lifetime of exploration. For me, it is an ongoing exploration of the relationships between materials, textures, colors, shapes, layers and the struggle to work outside of the box. By allowing myself to not conform to the expected but to allow for the beauty of the unexpected, I find that my process somehow creates
itself. There is nothing more exciting than approaching a large blank canvas and knowing that I will undoubtedly learn something new in the process of making it art.
